I recently finished reading a book by Joseph Nguyen, ‘Don’t Believe Everything You Think’. And I have to tell you - it has changed my outlook on fulfillment. If you are following me on LinkedIn, you know how much I love this book given my recent rave in the ‘8 ways in which Joseph Nguyen changed my life’ post.

This man has laid out the clear connection between your consciousness and its job to bring you the joy and fulfillment that you are looking for. It’s quite simple actually -

1. When we feel strongly for something, we work for it without “thinking”. it’s like breathing.

2. When you’re operating from a place of inspiration, you’re working for your calling.

3. Your soul is where your answer lies as to why you are where you are currently in your life.

How does the human consciousness relate to passion and fufillment?

It’s where desire meets awareness.

Your passion speaks to you through your energy, curiosity, and the flow of your soul. It pulls you toward what feels meaningful, ignites you within, and connects you to a deeper part of yourself. This is when you’re not thinking about it - it is simple happening.

Here is what I have learnt over the course of time:

1. Passion is coming to terms with who you really are.

2. This path is not easy but purposeful - you know why you’re doing what you’re doing.

3. Treat your passion like a compass for your consciousness - your why.

4. Life becomes deeply called to live - and not just to exist.

That is all that I wanted to share with you today. It has taken me a long time to connect with what matters to me within. When I did, I found my calling.
